Kelly is a dedicated professional with a rich background in both military service and entrepreneurship. A former U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper, Kelly served his country with distinction from 1993 to 1997, deployed across various locations, including Japan, the Philippines, and Panama. His experience in the military shaped his discipline, integrity, and attention to detail — values that he carries into every aspect of his work.

After his service, Kelly pursued a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Texas, with a major in Logistics and a minor in Marketing, graduating in 2000. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open and run a successful insurance agency for 21 years, where he honed his skills in customer service, problem-solving, and relationship management. These skills have seamlessly translated into his current role at JR Insulation, where Kelly’s focus is on developing meaningful relationships with clients and helping them solve their insulation needs with the same dedication and integrity that has been the foundation of his career.

Kelly’s approach is driven by his desire to serve others. Demonstrating his servant’s heart and commitment to helping others. Whether it’s assisting clients with insulation solutions or building long-term partnerships, Kelly’s goal is always to ensure that the client’s needs come first.

In his personal life, Kelly is happily married to Hayley, his wife of 28 years, and they have six children, including four boys and two girls, along with two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. The Phillips family lives on a small ranch where they enjoy spending time together outdoors, caring for chickens, goats, and miniature donkeys. Kelly loves to work and play outside, often enjoying outdoor projects with his family and savoring the opportunity to smoke meat for family and friends. As a committed member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Kelly is actively involved in the Knights of Columbus and the ACTS Community, where he continues to give back to others.
