Vince Collins | Lead Estimator

With over 16 years of experience in the construction industry, Vince Collins brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to his role as Lead Estimator at JR Insulation. Throughout his career, Vince has worn many hats—from sales and project management to working with major contractors like UNC—building a strong foundation in both residential and commercial insulation.

Vince’s professional journey took a pivotal turn when he met Joaquin, now owner of JR Insulation, while working at another insulation company. Their connection quickly grew into a strong professional partnership and personal friendship. Over the last nine years, Vince has worked with and for Joaquin, and credits him with being a major influence in his life. “He’s a great guy with a big heart,” Vince says. “He helped me through some hard times and get back on my feet.”

Now leading JR Insulation’s estimating team, Vince is known for his dedication, attention to detail, and deep understanding of the industry. His commitment to integrity and top-tier customer service makes him an invaluable asset to both clients and coworkers alike.

Outside of work, Vince is a proud husband and family man. He and his wife Michelle married in 2021 and have a lively blended family with four kids: Braeden (18), Emma (13), Audrey (almost 8), and Asher (6). Their home is full of energy—not just from the kids, but also from their three dogs: Zeke the Chiweenie, Bella the purebred Shih Tzu, and their little pup, Izzy, who many say looks just like a Yorkie.

The Collins family resides in Denison, Texas—Vince’s hometown just south of the Red River—while Michelle hails from Weatherford, another beloved Texas gem. On weekends, you’ll likely find them cheering from the sidelines at soccer games, grilling with friends, or just enjoying time together outdoors.
